Beautiful drop stitch wave
scarf. In this class students will learn the technique of
placing beads within the yarn over for a stunning effect once
the stitches are dropped. Materials required approx. 400
yarns of light dk weight cotton. I will have Susan from
Schaefer yarn 100% pima cotton, 930 6mm glass beads and #6 US

Top Down Sweater 2-3hour

Ok girls, get ready for some
summer fun. This sock class must be attended in pairs. You
and a friend get to take this magic loop sock class for the
price of one. Each student must purchase a skein of yarn
for two socks and you must have at least a 40" circular needle
in #2 or #3. The way this works is you each pick a pattern
and make one sock, then trade with your partner. Your
partner will then make your second sock for you. Yes you
might end up with two slightly different sock sizes but that is
all part of the fun. No more ONE SOCK SYNDROME for you.
Trust me, there is going to be some competition going on with
this class! Space is limited to 4 pairs so sign up early.

the basic skills for crochet. If you have always wanted to
try crochet but never thought it was for you, this class will
change your mind. This is a fun filled class where
students will learn to incorporate crochet into their knitting
skills. You will learn making a chain, single crochet,
double crochet, the bobble stitch and how to do a crochet bind
off on your knitting projects, all while making this fabulous
scarf. Materials necessary are worsted weight yarn

ever experienced the frustration of losing or breaking on of
your double pointed needles when you in the middle of a project,
this class is for you. Learn how to convert any sock
pattern to this method. It's easy and convenient (not to

Clapotis Wrap 2-3

If you are a member on Ravelry, then you already know the
story behind the Clapotis Scarf or Wrap as it is more often
referred to . This scarf is a drop stitch pattern and fun
to make as the stitches are carefully dropped to make a pattern
in the opposite direction. This scarf requires about 850
yards of a light worsted or dk weight of blended yarn and a # 7
or 8 needle.

to knit a hat in the round using 1 40" circular needle. If
you like doing hats your going to love this method as there are
NO double point needles to switch to when decreasing, you can

popular demand are the Felted Clogs. In this class with
Mary Anne, you will make a pair of knitted and felted, slipper
clogs. Once the clogs are felted you have the option of
adding your own touch with needle felting. If you've been
in the shop you have seen these great clogs! Students must

stitch with other knitters. There is no charge for this
time and seating is limited. If you are currently meeting
with a group or are looking for a place to meet come on in!
This is not for instructional time however don't be afraid to
ask other knitters for help.

Mitered Knitting Workshop: 4-Hour
Workshop............................................................................$45.00
This workshop teaches you the
technique of Mitered knitting. In this workshop you
will be making a multi-colored Mitered squared felted bag.
Students must use 4 skeins of different colors (or your choice
of colors) of Cascade 220.
If you have wanted to learn the Mitered technique of knitting
but have run the other direction in fear you could not learn it,
fear no more. Students must have intermediate knitting
skills, including knit, purl, increase, decrease. This
